When we found out that 4 of our favourite Brisbane Bloggers where expecting, including our very own Cate, we knew we had to do something! What better way to help them celebrate and share in their joy than by having a Combined Baby Shower! (Well, thanks to the lovely Trudie for some direction, she is such an ideas person! ) Although Cass and Nee are also pregnant, we kind of feel that their burgeoning tummies are symbolic of the healthy growth of the Brisbane Blogosphere. Just in case you felt you needed more to celebrate!
So if you are in Brisbane on Sunday 2nd June, please come along to New Farm Park to say hi and congratulations. We are meeting at 10am, just near the amazing play area. A large gaggle of chatting, laughing, bloggy peeps won’t be hard to miss!
You don’t need to be pregnant OR a blogger to attend, this is a free and easy event – very casual! Please bring a picnic lunch, including a plate or two to share. You can get to New Farm Park via bus or City Cat, and there is plenty of free parking; a few options for coffee and tea, toilets and some shelter. It is entirely optional, but please feel free to bring gifts for the expecting mums. There are three pink bumps and one blue. Can you guess who is having which?
